My son had a really terrible experience at a private Montessori in the area. They trashed his active imagination and he was so miserable. So we let him interview at a few locations so he could pick his next school. We couldn't go in to the classroom at the time because of COVID so the teacher brought a walkie talkie as we went around the building so he could talk to his other teacher and the kids in the classroom. Lionheart is an incredible children's academy! Their staff are friendly are truly care for the children in their program. They go above and beyond to make sure the kids have a great experience and create fun memories for them! Wouldn't take my kids anywhere else.

This is a long time coming review of Lionheart. My daughter has attended here since she was an infant. She is now 2 years old. My wife and I love the way they interact with her and how well the educational program is executed here. The activity's I have seen are both fun, edifying, and very interactive. What motivated me to finally do a review is sufficient time and experience with Lionheart. Called and got called back by a California number?! I called asking their vaccine policy (pre-covid) and they wouldn't share it. This is a very common question. I said ok can you tell me if you require staff to be vaccinated and they said that was private info. This is not private when you speak to other daycares. I said I'm not sure why I would enroll if you can't share this, they laughed and said ok then and hung up. The oddest encounter I ever had for a daycare. It saddens me that it takes a poor Yelp review for this company to respond with any empathy to my family's situation (see Erik Jensen's post). After the second incident and speaking with only the teacher because I had to request a conversation, I had to email to speak the Director. It look her 12 hours to call me to only downplay the second situation. We had our daughter (age 5) at Lionheart since January 2021, and have had two incidents of sexual molestation from another child in her class. We had to sign reports each time indicating what happened, and how it happened, and by whom. The second time we received a sexual molestation report regarding the same child, we decided to ask the director, Ahdazsa Spoto, to remove the boy from our daughters classroom for her safety.
