We had a rough go around trying to get a personal loan from Listerhill. The woman Lesa in charge of our loan was so hard to get ahold of she ended up having to do a credit pull on us twice and requested documents from us twice because it took her so long to get it done that the documents we originally provided were no longer current. Then after 2.5 months, we finally got approved for our loan - only to find out she had processed it as the entire wrong type of loan. My Husband and I just moved here to Columbia and were looking for a credit union. We wanted to get away from the big banks. I read the reviews about Listerhill and what I noticed was they received great reviews for customer service. Amelia was so sweet and very helpful. The banking system is what it is. I was looking for that “personal” experience that seems to have been lost in most businesses. Amelia explained to us that Listerhill is very involved with the community and that is so important to us.
We have been members for a year now, and we will never do our banking with anyone else! The staff members are so nice and helpful! They know me by name, and that makes me very happy! We love what they stand for and how they give back to our community! Listerhill is a great CU, and I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a bank.
You know, you would think with all the business that I've done with these folks never had no late payments or anything like that and been with them for a very long time. They would take care of me whenever I need something nope. Every single time wanna hit me with the highest interest rate possible. So, finally, after all the years of being with them, I will be switching banks soon.
This bank allowed a hacker to take all our money out of our account. They told us the investigation team requires ten days. ListerHill didn't offer us $100 to carry us until the investigation was over. We had thousands taken in the middle of a pandemic. They offered us nothing. This is not a good credit union I do not recommend using this branch / bank. ListerHill will be sued day after 9-24-2020 for the return of our money.
