I had a terrible experience with this shipping company while transporting my car from PEI to Calgary. During the shipment, my car was damaged. The company initially agreed to cover the repair costs and sent my car to a repair shop. However, after the car was fixed, they refused to pay for the repair costs. Now, my car is stuck at the repair shop because they won’t release it without payment, and the shop understandably doesn’t operate at a loss. Damaged my car during shipping, sent it to a garage to get fixed as they mentioned they will cover the cost. Now they are not willing to pay for all the costs incurred. And Garage won’t give my car back because they don’t operate on losses as far as I know.
I transported a 2013 Mazda3 from Toronto to Edmonton. Livingston was very transparent with everything, from available shipment dates and the first-come-first-served policy. My car arrived on time and in similar condition as I gave them. This was the cheapest quote I found online. They don't allow you anything in the car except a few car-related items (i.e. tires), but still worth it. I am very happy with how this company handled my business.
I am so glad I used Livingston to ship my vehicle from Vancouver to Calgary. It took only a week and the the Lady (Michelle) was lovely to work with through the entire process. I will for sure use them again in the future.
My dad purchased a 1929 Nash from Halifax and got it transported through Livingston. I was impressed with thier communication, and how quickly the car showed up! When the truck arrived, the driver "Steve" introduced himself and told me about some issues he noticed on the car before transporting it that would potentially make it unsafe to drive which I was grateful for.
