I hired this firm for an eviction matter and paid $2,450 upfront. After deciding to terminate the case, I asked that they deduct the cost of whatever work had actually been performed and refund the remainder. Instead, they refused to refund anything, and told me they would “do me a favor” and waive a $500 process server/predicate notice fee. Our case was handled by James Murtha. I will agree that the process is smooth and everything is handled in a timely manner from a documents perspective, however, the actual court hearing was a different case. I appeared at the Court hearing and Mr. Murtha actually said "what am I doing here - that I'm wasting my time". I couldn't believe it.
