I want to make it clear Lori did NOT cross any lines that are sanctionable or illegal. But in my experience, she was extremely self-focused, boundaryless, and lacked self-awareness. These weren't incidental moments either. This wasn’t simply a case of her and I being a “bad fit” or a mismatch in style. Mrs Shapiro is a very good therapist. I appreciate how she allows me to express myself and share my thoughts. Most of the time when I start my visit with her I feel hopeless and depressed by the time I’m finished with our session I feel much better.
