Don't do it to yourself...look elsewhere. The apartment I received had a full on sewer gnat infestation...yes a INFESTATION. Nothing that their maintenance, their professional pest control, a plumber, or even Orkin (that I personally paid for) could get rid of. Please look at the photos I uploaded for reference. I reached out to management multiple times and got the run around with no true results. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT RENT FROM 1ST LAKE APARTMENTS.
I transferred here from another 1st lake property and living here has been awesome! Everyone has been nice to me especially the manager Paige. Neighborhood is so much better and the actual apartments are better also. The only complaint I have is getting maintenance to come fix anything does take a while but I understand they are understaffed. Overall I love living here. Thank you lost bayou.
The maintenance staff and property manager are amazing. The current maintenance person, Ash, and the property manager, Jessica, make an amazing team.. They are the best team here yet in my 9+ years living here. Both of them really care about the tenants as people and residents. They are always willing to talk to me, hear any comments about the property and act upon any needs that I or other residents express. This is a small community, which is pretty quiet and very safe. I love calling the Lost Bayou home.
Moved into a 1 bed 1 bath 3rd floor unit here in July 2021. Location is the biggest reason why I chose Lost Bayou and is probably the only reason I would choose them again. It’s located in a decent, quaint, and overall quiet area. The apartment itself was ample for me and I was able to make it feel like home, but honestly it is decent at most. Did a 7 month lease here from 2015-2016, liked that the short lease was offered as it was my first place renting alone. Felt safe for me fresh out of high school and enjoyed the pool. The maintenance man and front desk lady was always nice. Sometimes people at the pool were out past “quiet time” and didnt notice the daycare next door that would get loud but overall great clean apartment.
