My wife had a recent stay there, she was there less than 2 months. Everything about that place was bad. I finally brought her back home, to have home care people assist her a few hours each day. If I was to do it again, If I had a pet, I wouldn't let it stay there. Just a terrible place for your loved ones. The people who were good there were over shadowed by the people who were bad, from management down!
I have not one, but two, family members at this assisted living facility. Let's get one thing straight. ASSISTED Living means that they provide some ASSISTANCE..These elderly people are on their own. When my family member in the facility had COVID and needed medical attention, she pressed her call button repeatedly for assistance. No one came. I am appalled by the lack of care and accountability at this assisted living facility. As a caregiver myself at a much better facility, I am deeply disturbed by how this place operates. They failed to provide a resident with her prescribed medications for over a month, which is not just neglect—it’s dangerous and inexcusable. This facility is garbage. I had my mother in this place for about a week and had to move her out. The lack of care is horrendous. They neglect to acknowledge the needs of the residents and don't have the proper means to take care of them. The lack of staff is also a concern. There were never enough trained staff on at any point. My mother would call me and complain about staff never showing up after she hit the call button. Our family cannot thank all the people involved who have graciously helped Mom's transition from home to Carolina, enough. Kathy, Rebecca, Babs, Erin, Tammy, and Ann from CarePatrol were the very best ladies to work with. They made Mom's transition so seemless to a very overwhelmed family.
