I applied for a PRN (as-needed) position as a full-time college student. During the interview, Zakiya acknowledged my situation, mentioned her daughter was in medical school, and told me to simply let her know when I could work. After being hired as PRN, I was then told I had to commit to 12 hours per week—which was not what I agreed to or what PRN typically means. My experience at loving arms care was honestly like working with my family. I would make sure to be at my shift on time and if I ever needed help the scheduler and my boss Zakiya were able to be on call 24/7 to help. I really appreciate them.

I have been working with Zakiya and Loving Arms Care for over 4 years, and I can truly say it has been a blessing. Zakiya is incredibly supportive and understanding. She is very involved with both her caregivers and clients, and I have personally seen her step in to cover shifts when others were unreliable. Zakiya and Marnet are fantastic at providing care and are very knowledgeable. Such a kind atmosphere, every time I stop by the office they are always greeting me with loving arms, I can’t think of a better team! Best in Charlottesville Va (really stand out from the rest) what a difference this company brings. A change in the system where they listen to the clients and pick and choose who is best with each individual “wow.”
