Dr. Heitman is a very kind and reassuring man, but more importantly, he is a very gifted and skilled doctor of endodontics. I had my first root canal today and felt zero pain! I have already recommended him to two friends who are going to have a root canal. Very very pleased with my experience today! Excellent office with a highly trained and conscientious staff and this experience was totally exceptional and pleasant.
Dr. Heitman and his staff are EXCELLENT. Lisa greeted me with a smile and put me at ease prior to my root canal. Once in the dental chair, his assistant took x-rays of my tooth and was careful around the painful area. Dr. Heitman was AMAZING. He was kind, soft-spoken and told me everything he was thinking and doing, treating me as a partner in the procedure, not just another patient in the chair. Despite being my first time in Dr. Heitman's Endodontics, it was great. Since, Dr. Heitman had really good recommendations on how to help your tooth become more comfortable and if it hurts, then he also recommends getting a root canal treatment early rather than waiting. It was a great experience as well. Besides, he does look like an older Mark Wahlberg. XD Edit: The scan plays a Beethoven- Für Elise jingle. I like it :)
It was fantastic. At 66 years old, I have had a few dynamics with my dental history and today was the best that I have ever had with two professionals working as a team versus 1) Dr & 2) assistant. No one ever wants to go back to get another root canal, but if I have to, this team would be selected.
From the moment I walked in the door, I felt at ease. Now when I hear "root canal," I don't get a bad feeling. Exceptional office staff. And Dr Heitman took his time and explained the process. It was over before I knew it. Thank you to Dr. Heitman and the team at Lowcountry Endodontics for such a great experience.
