At first I was very scared and nervous to get a root canal done as I’ve never had one before. Once I got in the staff in the front office were very welcoming, and I don’t remember the young lady name but she was amazing we’ve talked and she gave me great advice about kids…. I recently had my very first root canal, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, Lorrie and McKenzie made me feel completely at ease — they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I had passed Lowcountry Endodontics and thought, “what a great location and building, an old Beaufort home”. I told this to Dr Heitman at my visit today. I did not think I’d be in the office, but there I was. I was extremely satisfied with my care today. I had a wonderful conversation with Laura, at reception. She’s warm, friendly and efficient. NOBODY wants to hear those dreaded 2 words: "root canal", but if you must, I enthusiastically recommend Lowcountry Endodontics. Laurie offered a warm and friendly welcome, handling the administrative issues professionally and efficiently. Dr. Heitman is very personable with an excellent chair-side manner. He clearly explains all findings, options, and step-by-step procedures, while simultaneously creating a calming environment, along with his assistant, Ashley. Very positive experience!

I'm a reluctant dental patient and was relieved to find how gentle and sensitive to my fear Dr. Heitman was. The whole staff was kind and understanding. Good work. I hope, of course, to never need to return, but if I need a root canal, no one else will do it! Thanks
