I really like this location except I think I got sick recently having to wait in the urgent care center to have my blood work drawn by my pain specialist drs. The urgent care and lab should be in two separate areas. Definitely need more precautions to avoid any additional illness or viruses for patients that already have weakened immune systems. Loyola has great doctors and staff. Their facilities often leave a lot to be desired. Lots of old buildings in need of major work. This location is by far the best. The clinic rooms are clean and welcoming. The halls and ope areas are very inviting. The care and the staff are top notch and the best we have seem. 5 stars all around.
Be aware as my insurance company explained Loyola healthcare is one of the very few locations in Illinois that charges a “facility fee” when you walk in the door. For one office visit to new to me orthopedic surgeon, along with his doctor fees I was charged $300 facilities fee when I saw him for 20 minutes and he gave me a cortisone shot. Very good doctor but I will never go to a Loyola facility again. My insurance - one of the best ones and a PPO - does cover this fee but there is a $300 copay. I love loyola.I have had Dr. Ostrowski for 21 years as my Rheumatologist. I truly believe she is the reason I'm still working today as a carpenter.
We live in Arlington Heights but always make arrangements for test and procedures at Burr Ridge even though it is further away. We do so because of the excellent care and treatment we receive from Pam and Lisa. They make everything run smoothly and efficiently with excellent bedside manners. The best!
