3/19/25: I had my annual breast MRI, something I’ve done yearly for the past 10 years. I even told the technicians I have had lots of experience with these and that I had 3 biopsies after my first MRI 10 years ago which led me to having those biopsies completed in an MRI machine which took over 2.5 hours. They knew I am very familiar with breast MRI’s. I got my IV and positioned in the machine and as soon as the first image started it felt like I was being cooked from the inside out. First off... Some doctors are better than others. Nurse's are fantastic (usually). The office people are usually very friendly. They accidentally discovered thyroid cancer... Because I demanded a chest X-ray. I've also had back surgery fusion w rods... Didn't really help much... And follow up was erratic. I'm 73 now and handicapped... About to have cataract surgery. Over all I think Loyola is very good... Oh, you go for a 5 thousand dollars visit and they charge parking. REALLY? THAT'S insane.
I’m deeply concerned with the level of care that my daughter is receiving as I will be a first time grandmother 💕 My daughter is currently receiving care at Loyola University Medical Center and she goes to the Loyola Women's outpatient center. I would appreciate any insight on Labor & Delivery!!’ I will be traveling there soon for the birth of my first grandchild. I would appreciate helpful feedback. Thank you !!!

Dr's are ok, not superb by any means. The billing department is at best mediocre. We confirmed they verified our insurance coverage before booking appointments, and yet still received bills for the services. When finally getting to speak to someone, she had the audacity to get an attitude that I was irritated with the situation. If you all did your jobs effectively this wouldn't be happening. Customer service score 2 at best only because training physician and ultrasound tech had courtesy. The rest of you have way too much e... read more
