I went on a tour of this facility, and it was such a learning experience! The facility is huge and the entire process is so thorough.

As clean as a dump can be. Pretty easy to drive through scales dump and go. Price has gone up since I was last here. It was 80 for up to 1 or 2 tons can't remember. They now require you to wear a hard hat and safety vest, so bring your own. Also enter through the Harlem road which is allot better than the Cicero road.
There is a minimum cost of $65 per visit, so bring it all in one go. 2-3 cars can fit on the scale at once so load up your friend's car if you need to in order to hit the minimum.
Great staff, awesome scale operator...but if they open at 5am why is the scale back up onto the frontage road and no one getting in? It is 525 and they havnt taken 1 truck in yet....like this everyday!!
