Since it won't let me give them a zero. I set-up auto-pay multiple times on their website and they never accepted it, so I kept getting charged late fees. They took my 96 gallon trash bin and replaced it with a 65 gallon bin. From other servic providers I looked at, they charge different prices for the sizes of bins. So, that would mean that this company has been stealing from me and my wife. Their recycling is junk. Their customer service is not great either. All around you can get better service elsewhere.
*SEE UPDATE AT END OF THIS POST* I almost laughed out loud when I came to Google to leave a review for LRS! A grand total of less than 2 stars! You would think someone at corporate would take notice that this Niles facility is "falling short" of customer expectations! UPDATE: Called this morning (Monday) Talked with Jessica, very rude. Got no where except they can pick it up on my normal day this week (will be shocked if they do) Can compensate for one of the missed weeks not both because of the time frame that i called. (Apparently they think everyone takes care of can right away) was told manager was in meeting Jessica refused to give me a time i can contact Dawn. Place is a joke A+ Rating at BBB will be changing. Customer service lady was nice. Three weeks in a row trash bin was damaged. First week the lid was snapped in half and a crack from top to bottom ran down the entire bin. I had to call twice to get it replaced. They did not come when they said they would the first time. Second week the lid was broken off again and they wouldn’t replace it, third week the handle hinge broken. According to them, it could take 3 months to get a refund for the rest of the quarterly service that was paid for. Going with Borden.
Since LRS took over Michiana. Our garbage can has been torn up. We can’t call to complain because we have no new account number. Phone line are really rough to get someone on the phone. The person they did finally answer was very rude on the phone. Was told to just wait until we get a bill in the mail then we can call back. Not sure why the new company can’t empty garbage without damaging the can. So far, not impressed at all.
