All of my providers are amazing. However their “Portal” is not an app to send you notifications. Meaning you may not receive life threatening information in life saving amounts of time. Jeopardizing your health. Their phones are also never on at 8:00am when their offices claim to be open.
My experience wasn't very good. I filled out information a couple times. My daughter had to help people to get to that point. Read all the information which took a while. Started at 3:30. Was on my phone till after 5: 00, waiting for some one to answer. My daughter called on her phone to find out why no one was answering on my me. She was on her phone for 45 mins. This was very frustrating.
I had been having a lot of issues in finding psychiatric services over the last few years for myself. Waitlists were incredibly long, or the provider didn't accept my insurance, or they weren't willing to take over my medications. If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter had a first time appt with LaPointe on June 23rd which was supposed to last 1 hour. We left the office in exactly 15mins which included us arriving, her waiting to go back, and then coming right back out extremely upset in tears. She was rude to my daughter and laughed at her with a smirk while asking questions. This triggered my daughter to get very upset, start crying, and just walk out the appt. I'm not computer smart. It took several tries to get into my appointment but I made it in and I simply needed to get the # and come back to the box could not make it work
