I was referred by my OBGYN to a maternal fetal medical specialist as I had a history of early miscarriages (all prior to seven weeks) and because of further miscarriage concerns because of spotting. When I called to schedule, however, the staff (at the instruction of Dr. Nicholas) would not schedule me until seven weeks.
