Believe every one star review and know that it was generous. I barely got my father out of this place. He was here back in 2018-2019. It took force to get him out and begging of other places to assist in getting it done. He was there to heal and go home it wasn't meant as a sentence for life. Don't take your loved ones here.
My father was admitted on 7/25/24 to Majestic Care Avon. The staff made him feel welcomed. They have made it easy for my family to deal with the seperation, knowing that he is being cared for by people that cares.
My sister has been at Majestic for about 3 years now, and I am pleased with her care at this point. I've seen some improvements there in 3 years, and it seems to be moving in the right direction. My sister is in the Memory Care section, so I can't speak for the rest of the facility except I've never had any sort of problem there with anything. As for Memory Care, Julia has been very helpful and responsive. They now have Lindsey on board and she seems to have the needs of the residents as a priority. The only issue I have is ... read more
A few are caring but for the most part aren't very compassionate. It would be a challenging job for sure. Older people are a challenge to care for because they need so much. That's why they are there, not to be a nuisance, but to be cared for. The night shift is a nightmare. Check out other facilities if this is what you need for your loved ones.
I never do reviews because I'm always so busy. I had to take the time to leave this facility a review because they are hands down the best facility i have ever stepped foot into. I have seen alot over the last 20 yrs of my mother working at them. This last year was my first experience personally dealing with one and it was a nightmare until we got her transported to Avon.
