From the moment I contacted Make Space Storage to rent a unit for my move, until my move out date three months later, I have been very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. The unit was clean, easy to use and locate and had great security, giving me peace of mind that all my belongings would be safe. I would definitely use them again!
Mixed up my account with someone else’s, made me believe I was in good standings and did not notify me (the say they did many times and mailed letters) stating that I was at risk of losing my unit. Allowed me to pay two invoices including the most recent one without notifying me of my unit being auctioned off. I show up to get some of my belongings and the unit is empty. Repeat billing issues since new ownership. Stated they’d only accept PAD payments, (not “in addition”’ to anything else. I’m happy to provide the emails stating as such from the company.) We paid EMT prior to their ownership. No longer accepted. When PAD wasn’t working we also went in to pay and their machine “wasn’t working” for debit/credit. We sent the PAD info in Feb ‘24. I wish I could make it 0 stars. We got the 8x30 storage locker and the wood floor was soaked. We obviously couldn’t store our stuff there or it would grow mold. We had to switch to a different container and they would not give us a refund. We also tried to go in person to speak to someone, there was a sign saying that we needed to go to a different facility a few km away. I needed storage for a couple of months between houses. Austin & Kaitlyn were very helpful & pleasant people who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable with the security & the cleanliness of the unit. I highly recommend them at the Quinte West locations. The price was reasonable for the unit and the service was excellent. Thank you Austin & Kaitlyn.
