Location is good. Onsite Maintenance team is great. But lately we’ve been having problems with management and third party maintenance (cause apparently that was the problem). We tested our furnace/heater September 8th to make sure we have a warm house during winter. It took several emails and requests and 2 months to get my old/malfunctioning heater fixed. Not to mention that during a storage purge, even after send the items to be saved twice (email and text with specific details of items) as requested, and a phone call to m... read more
Nervous to post publicly for fear of retaliation. Recently we went 2.5 weeks without a working shower . It’s a basic right of a tenant to have working plumbing. I am patient and understanding but .. The photos are current- of the ceiling and walls that were opened for maintenance on pipes . In January. Wondering why the Ann Arbor Inspectors were concerned but no change … $
The apartments need to be updated with central air. Maintenance team is great! Edward really takes the time to get the job done.
lived here 10 yrs bc rent was cheapest in A2. but McKinley is a slum lord. Be prepared to have a new apartment manager every 3 months, constant unannounced water shut offs (have jugs of water on backup), police in buildings daily to address issues mgmt won't, roaches bc buildings have so much water damage and half baked contracted fixes that take months to schedule. Loved the entire move-in experience. Sarah is a great leasing agent who has made this entire move-in quite helpful and easy with comfortable paperwork and great communication. When I arrived in the apartment, there were some very little issues such like every other place, but the two amazing men from the maintenance team were super helpful and accommodating. The area is very nice, close to several food places, and has a lovely community around.
