6.20.24 The admission specialist for nights wasn’t to welcoming for it being a first time experience. After midnight, me and my patient arrived and were welcome by an empty lobby. There computers were down so everything was gonna have be done by hand. We still waited, walked through all the steps. Was informed that my loved one would be there 5 to 7 days and it ended up nearly 2 weeks. Repeatedly called, yet phone recording would frequently say "having technical difficulties" and the line would hang up. I spoke to or left messages for 4 staff and none of them knew what was going on and did not follow through when they said they would get back. Amy, RN has been amazing to me not only during my inpatient stay but also after I left. If I have questions about anything she was and is there to help me. While they are short staffed, all staff members were pleasant, including the BHTs - both Amber's and Matt. Josiah was amazing when it came to music therapy and Cass is a great social worker. I know I am well cared for and supported here!
The staff was amazing. Rooms are definitely chill! This was my 1st visit at a place like this. Only 4 stars as there were some minor issues w/meds and a special diet(but thankfully it was due to allergies) that's why I didn't give them 5 stars. The staff members are really nice and everyone is professional in what they do. The food there is great too. Only downside id say, is if you don’t like the cold. Cause the rooms there are pretty chilly. Overall I got the help I was looking for and needed, so 5 Stars from me.
