I recently moved to San Diego and saw Dr Katz for the first time this week. I had a great visit and felt that she was very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely recommend her.
Very odd first impression....First thing she did was assume that she had known my friend or what their circumstances were. Was too afraid to actually prescribe the correct medication and didn't realize that if she had prescribe the medication she intended it would of sent them spiraling and in dangerous waters. She wasn't thorough at all or even asked questions. No eval was done. She said she wanted to cure patients or attempt to cure them and get to the fundamentals but, the reality is. Listens to the patients needs and does her best to accomodate them. She holds you accountable and follows up on what she asks you to do. Very nice and is always prompt.
Very pleased to establish Marina Katz, MD as my husband's new Psychiatrist. Marina is very cordial and pleasant. She listened carefully and did not rush through the appointment. She extended helpful insights and recommendations for my husband's care while being considerate toward the support I need as a caregiver.
I often don't take the time to leave a review but Dr. Katz deserved a positive review. She was absolutely professional, thorough, kind, and offered reasonable options. Highly recommend her!
