I met Dr. Mark Carey in November, 2024, 6 months after I moved to Philadelphia. I had a Psychiatrist in Washington, DC for 22 years who treated my depression with three medications. Dr. Carey is an excellent physician and kind and caring person. I am currently taking Bupropion and Lamotrigine and am pleased that Dr. Carey is looking after me. Rosalyn Fitch
Dr.Carey is very thorough and knowledgeable about my condition. He has helped me tremendously.
Worst medical experience of my life. He’s stone cold with no demeanor or personality. Already has a preconceived belief what he’s willing to do. You are not an individual with this guy, you’re no more than a “general rule.” I ended the call worse off than when I began. I needed him to understand and respect my situation, he refused
He did great helping me get a diagnosis and get on the right medication. He listened to all my concerns, was very professional, and did a great job explaining what the diagnosis was and what the treatment would entail.
Dr. Carey is kind, understanding, and professional. He is excellent and timely regarding communication as well as scheduling.
