Set an appointment for my 7 month old for a bad cough and vomiting. Got there, and they asked for insurance card. Just updated him onto my insurance plan, and it hasn't taken affect yet. Okay, so we had the means to pay cash, but no. They did not like that, and sent a very sick baby away. 4 hours later at the ER, we are just now getting out. Will deffinetly be looking for a new care provider.
Be aware - they don't make sure they are covered by your insurance when you go to the ER, and then they won't work with your insurance company. This is a FOR PROFIT hospital, you're better off going to a not for profit hospital.
We have always gotten same day appointments for anything important, even just a couple hours previous. The doctors are great and staff as well. Super quick and nice experience every time.
