When I have to trust my garments are given another crisp clean and professionally packaged such as for my favorite ties, Martenizing is the gold standard. Their customer service in-store is always totally supportive and kind, being greeted with a warm smile. It's a very efficient and professionally run shop. Give ‘em a chance to launder your clothing and they will have you feel confident in your attire—for real.
After they ruined my hat one of the owners called me and said that they were going to replace it. I was skeptical at first, but I'm updating this review to 5 stars because they kept their word and replaced my hat. Customer service definitely made up for the mistake. Thank you Bob!
My cat sprayed on my silk comforter so I was sure it was ruined. I brought it here and they actually saved it. I was amazed cuz cat spray pretty much ruins everything. Not only did they save it and make it good as new... it was only $40! I had a 20 percent off coupon but even at $60 it was well worth the price. They are miracle workers. And have reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.
I am a local seamstress who specializes in restoring vintage wedding gowns and other vintage textiles. I am disappointed when it comes to Martinizing Alameda as I was expecting high quality service per prior reviews, but have been let down.
