It was a language barrier, or I hope it was. She seemed to me very curt, saying things like "you're only here because of the trauma and the anxiety, right?" When I said that I wouldn't call it "only a trauma" she asked "call you describe in one word why you're here?" That was... Not an okay thing to say to someone seeking help, no matter how swamped she might be as a psychiatrist. She seemed unfamiliar despite a very long intake form. I get it, she must see hundreds of people weekly, but it still feels wrong.
My provider was incredibly rude, unfamiliar with my case despite an intensive intake process. If 0 were an offering, I would start there.
