Very lovely facility with great staff and amenities for the residents and visitors. It is updated and modern, very comfortable place to visit. Services include independent and assisted living and memory care. It’s worth checking out if you are looking for a senior community.
I have been resident of Marycrest Hts. for a year and a half. I waited for that long for an apartment to become available. I am very happy to be living here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The residents and staff truly care for one another. There are many activities and opportunities available. I particularly like the gym and exercise classes, the library and the walking path around the complex to keep in touch with nature. I've been here 2 years. I've found that Marycrest is a very caring community. I'm in independent living but we also have the Manor and now The Estates and all 3 areas are kept clean and the grounds outside is very well maintained and beautiful. The wellness center is a wonderful place to keep your body and mind trim! Additionally, we have a beauty salon with a very capable hairstylist! The management team is very experienced and a joy to work with.
The staff in the restaurant did an awesome job! The bathrooms were clean and I know i made the best choice bringing my sister her.
When someone spends a lifetime living independently and then makes a change like a move to assisted living, it can be difficult and emotional. No place is perfect and there is a loss of independence which can be difficult to accept. Marycrest has been great with my mom. It is very clean. They encourage her to meet new people and do new thing without “pushing.” Her “complaints” were really related to things not being just as she was used to. Marycrest has adjusted.
