Booking has consistently been a challenge. In my experience, George does excellent work when he shows up—but he has failed to appear twice. I have to carefully coordinate my schedule and meetings, so a no-show is unacceptable. Today, service was refused by another staff member without any explanation. I had called ahead to inform them that the person getting a massage would be running late, and I was told it would be fine, with the understanding that the massage might be shortened to allow time for completing forms. I have been a member here for years. My service providers for massage (Jarrett) and stretches (Travis) are phenomenal. However, some of the reception staff are incompetent. They tell you that they will get back with you about an inquiry and never call you back. Lately it has been very difficult to get an appointment with my preferred servicer, so I have decided to cancel. I recently had the most absolutely horrible and worst experience with a message therapist named Kim at the Waldorf Massage Envy location. I think she may be unstable! I would never want a message from her!! I was running a few minutes late for a message appointment but notified the front desk I was running a few minutes late and was told to still come, I was maybe 7 minutes late total. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience I had during my most recent visit to your location. I was scheduled for a 2:00 PM massage appointment with Karen. Upon walking back with her, I asked for clarification about a comment made by the front desk associate, Elisa (sp), who mentioned, “You should get the best service she can give you since you’re late.” I simply wanted to understand what that meant. Love the atmosphere at massage envy. Greeted when I enter. Short wait time and Ishiama is amazing. Very good at what she does and makes you feel comfortable. I fall asleep every time I go to my facial appointment. Face feels so nice and she gives great advice on skin care and not just your face either.
