The one star is owed solely to the masseuse(s) being quite good. The management is some of the most unprofessional business dealings I've ever encountered. My father and mother came to this location often for My mother's broken back. My mother was unable to visit for a few years due to a bout with early onset dementia. Staff was welcoming and kind. I was able to book a 50-min massage as first time customer on. Sunday due to a cancellation. Really pleased that that even happened! Sylvia was my masseuse. She has excellent hand pressure, and did a few new techniques on my back that felt amazing. I did facial massage too for my allergies and sinuses. *******VERY DECITFUL/ PRETATORY********* *******DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER********** My first time in, I managed to get completely CONNED & TRAPPED into a membership. Cedar Park completely failed to disclose their membership is actually a 12 month contractual agreement. That was the first of many red flags. Had an exceptionally pleasant interaction with Erika. She went above and beyond to help resolve a tricky situation, and did so with grace, charm, and humor. I have had less-than-ideal interaction with other Massage Envy locations, so it was nice to have been "won over" all over again. It seems like most customer service interactions these days come with an air of indifference. It was nice to deal with someone who wanted to "wow" me with their focus on a positive outcome. I have had an appointment scheduled for over a month. I got a text 2 days ago and confirmed y for yes. I take off work and get here to be told my appointment was canceled. I have had a membership for years and spent lots of money here. Do better!!!!!! This is so unprofessional and disappointing. I am beyond mad!
