I was glancing at the reviews of this location and I was very upset to learn about the new tipping system that’s charging on non member pricing. I’ve been a member for over 10 years. The therapists here are wonderful! Jon, Carrie and Rachel are amazing! It sucks that I have to carry cash to tip due to the tipping system. On top of getting screwed on the amount, there’s also fees on top of the tip. So not cool. Bradlee is amazing 😇 She massaged my face the whole time and relaxed me into the next dimension. I really loved the red light therapy, it was very meditative.
VERY frustrated at this ridiculous tipping policy. I booked an appointment, the website says $80, confirmation says $80, the receptionist at the counter charging me says $80. I tipped 20% thinking I tipped 20% on $80. At NO point did they ever mention you were tipping on a non-member price and at NO point was $130 ever even mentioned. Don’t sign up unless you want to get stuck in a year contract. No one disclosed to me that the membership was a year contract, just told me the benefits and handed an iPad to sign.
The massage therapists are great, no issues there. But the management of this place is not the best. Their new tipping system automatically bases the percentage on NON member price, so if you’re not paying attention it will charge you based on that rather than the percentage off a membership price. No one explained this to me and I was charged $40 instead of $20 for the 20% tip I was trying to leave. I went in person to speak to management and was told they could refund me the $40 and I could leave cash instead, which I did.... read more
