Had an awesome first visit at Mauka Family Dental! From the start, the X-ray tech was super friendly, and Dr. Wee was fantastic—he took the time to really go over everything and has such a great personality. The hygienist (I didn’t catch her name) was also amazing—so positive and encouraging the whole time. Everyone there made me feel genuinely welcome, like part of the family.
This place provides terrible service. Military members should be especially careful, as they take advantage of military insurance and bill for services that are not needed or required. The front desk staff is rude and unhelpful. Many long‑time patients don’t even realize they’ve been taken advantage of for years. I hadn’t gone to a dentist in many years so I was very nervous to go somewhere. I had an issue with 1 tooth and was afraid of being judged but from the moment I walked in, to getting X-rays, meeting the dentist and getting my cleaning - it was an amazing experience! Everyone was so kind and was happy to help walk me through the process. I cannot recommend this place enough.
At Mauka Family Dental, the dental hygienist, dentist, and front desk staff are all very professional and friendly. It makes you want to go back there again and again. I would recommend for someone who is looking for a knowledgeable dentist and dental hygienist. I would rate them as 5/5 star. Thank you Mauka Family Dental.
Dr Wee is extremely patient and takes time to explain things. I’ve had many dentist but he is by far the best in service and professionalism. He cares about his patients and takes time to understand his patients and concerns. Their staff is so friendly and kind. I highly recommend them!!!
