MAX DENTAL USED to be good before they got all new staff and dentist. Now all they care about is getting as much money as possible. I was having a single implant over 2 calendar years to save over their high costs. I went in for the implant screw in December and just before procedure receptionist told me of the cost after insurance of just under $3000 for this day. This was my first time visiting Max Dental in Yaletown, and I went in with my wife, who has already been a patient there several times. I can completely understand why she keeps coming back. The entire team is extremely professional, welcoming, and attentive. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my visit. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I would highly recommend this clinic.
I was introduced here by an ex lol, but have continued to come here because their service has always been so warm & friendly, thorough check ups, they don't pressure you into things (no bs!), and if you have any budget concerns or concerns in general they're always considerate. I also don't find their rates more than average, at least from what I hear around so even though they're in Yaletown they're quite fair. I have my current partner coming here now and he also likes them!
I’ve been coming to Max Dental for over 4 years now, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Today was my 6-month cleaning follow-up, and once again, the team made it such a smooth and comfortable experience. Dr. Shin was very thorough, gentle and sweet. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything. The hygiene appt. was painless and informative. Happy to have found my new Vancouver dentist office!
