This is the worst pizza I have ever ordered. It had a thick almost film like layer of grease on it. Almost looks like someone poured old pizza grease on it. I ordered hand tossed and the crust appears to be hand tossed but the rest of it is thin and soggy from the grease. There is barely any sauce on it. We did not eat it. I called to see about a refund and that I would bring the pizza back but all they could do was issue me a credit for the two pizzas to use within 60 days. The pizza looks and taste awful. It's burnt and just not good. Service was amazing as always. This is my first bad experience
I would have given more stars for service but the man who checked us out made a very rude comment about how much food we ordered. What does he care how much food we ordered as long as we're spending money at the restaurant! We ordered two pizzas one medium one large and one 10-piece hot wings between two people. We ordered the two pizzas so we could eat some there and take some home for lunch the next day. Not that it was any of his business what we were doing with our food! I’ve always enjoyed Mazzio’s. We go to this one for carry out and have always had a pleasant experience. The last time we were there the cashier didn’t have the best attitude, and the inside of the restaurant is sad looking. Could definitely use a makeover. I haven’t been to the buffet so I can’t judge that, but that salad bar usually looks pretty decent as long as it’s stocked. The pizza is always pretty good. I used to work across the street from this Mazzio’s like 20 years ago and would often go there on our lunch break for the buffet. Well everything is still delicious and nothing has changed! I was excited to order again so I got a variety. Everything was delivered fresh, hot and FAST!
