I would like to first and foremost congratulate Ms Laura for a job super well done. I've been in this place before in comparison with the ZEN feelings and vibes at this establishment I would ruin the feel. This was my first experience with any sort of IOP…I was terrified but from day one I felt so much comfort and connection. My group was ALL walks of life, and the bond was immediate. My insurance unfortunately made me leave too soon, but I am forever indebted to the people & professionals I met there. Love & Miss you all!!
This place is DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL and DIFFICULT to work with when someone has IED. The receptionist is EXTREMELY rude. Not wanting to help with questions or anything. The assessment lady want to hear nothing about your story or you explaining things cutting you off when you explain your life a little further saying “that’s not what I asked” when you answer her questions with a bit of explanation. This experience can be scary and hard to navigate without knowing what to expect in an environment full of strangers discussing your private life. But I have to say I’ve been attending classes for about 5 months now. And since my initial evaluation with Milissa Flores, one of the lead counselors, she immediately made me feel comfortable and accepted. Utmost professional staff. Well prepared and experienced. Very well meaning and caring. Down to earth, very understanding of individuals and their personal situations. Initial expectations were shattered, began to view the opportunity as group therapy and very much came to enjoy the experience. Amazing staff. Extremely caring and will do whatever is in their power to help with individuals experiencing mental health issues all the way to substances.
