I’ve heard a lot of people fear the dentist. As do I as well. So imagine when I was told that I would need a root canal and was referred to this office. I was also told that they were super easy to book and helpful. That was definitely the farthest thing from the truth. I do expect some amount of sympathy when dealing with something so sensitive to me such as my teeth and mouth. While no one wants to get a root canal they made the entire experience as easy and pleasant as possible from the detailed explanation of why it was needed, to explaining the procedure and making sure I felt at ease about it. They even offered to give me time to get something to eat before the procedure since I was told I shouldn’t eat afterwards until I had full sensation in my mouth. My family's experience was better at Sheats Endodontics. They cared about us before the appointment. They cared about us during the appointment. Their care extended towards us even after the appointment. It's quite awkward to be approached for anything financial while sitting in the dental chair before the procedure. That's usually done at the beginning or end of the appointment at the front desk, which is respectful to the dignity and privacy of the dental patient. The office manager (Sarah) went out of her way to work me in before the weekend. My appointment with Dr, McKitrick was both efficient and pleasant…but I ended up needing a procedure that they didn’t do. Sarah took it upon herself to find a place to resolve my issue the next day, and I am most grateful for her assistance.

I was having tooth pain on a trip and as soon as I got home went to see my Dentist Dr Rose of Portland dentistry he referred me to Dr. Katherine McKitrick I was in pain and was able to get in to see her very soon. She was kind and understanding her office staff is awesome and her dental Assistant was just as awesome. She was very good ( I have seen my fair share of Dentists). She is an expert. I would recommend her to everyone.
