Pool was closed half the summer in 2025. They don’t seem to know what they’re doing and don’t have professionals checking the safety of the pool. A lot of people look forward to swimming in the summer, but they gladly raise rent every year without maintaining the pool. You have to hound them for big maintenance issues like washing machines, dryers and your dishwasher. I have lived at Meadowbrook Village for about 9 months, and I am quite pleased with my experience here. The administrative staff are friendly, responsive, and take pride in their work. The maintenance team is excellent; always responsive and thorough. Any issues that have arisen have always been handled quickly and taken seriously. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and safe, with easy access to downtown Ann Arbor and the highway. Great place to live.
The location of the apartments is really good, but the maintenance and the managing team need to improve. 1. Our bathtub was painted with paint. I’ve never seen people painted over the bathtub. 2. When we submitted a ticket about a potential rusted pipe, the staff just painted the pipe so the discoloration issue was gone. 3. Snow removal - they don’t remove the snow on the parking spaces even though they are empty. You can always find ice on the ground in the morning. Good for anyone who wants to skate. 4. Winter Maintenance is horrible! Gutter let's water drip down over front door and forms dagger icicles and a large, thick ice dam exactly in front of apartment door. Blowing snow goes un-shoveled. Multiple calls to maintenance staff to address this go unanswered. Not even any sand is put down to at least give some traction. It is an accident waiting to happen. Will post pictures if possible. I help a resident here with shopping and transportation and have seen the problem first hand.
Recently, I've had to contact Meadowbrook's administrative staff for help with several maintenance issues that I've been having in my unit and they've been responsive, amiable, and professional at every turn. However, the real stars of the show are the maintenance staff that have been over taking care of business. I've had the pleasure of having Matt, Tyrone, and Ahmed over to help with various work orders I've lodged and they're always exceedingly helpful, considerate, and above all, good-spirited!
