I’ve been going to Medi Weightloss for about 4-5 months. I have nothing but nice things to say about the Nurse and Nurse Practitioner there, they are great. As for the clinic itself im not so sure. I went in today and was treated like a person who tries to get around paying their bill. I make the monthly payments which are over $350 plus the weekly co pay of $25…unbeknownst to me my insurance was kicking back claims and it was building up in my balance. I was disappointed with how my appointment was handled. It became clear that the office was more concerned with closing early than being upfront about the situation. Transparency would have been as simple as saying, “Hey, we’d love to close the office early since you’re our only appointment—would you be open to coming in earlier?” Instead, the approach felt evasive and a bit shady.
