I have been seeing Melissa for almost a year. She has been so good for me! I’ve been able to make the progress I’ve wanted to and she continues to support me through my challenges. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
I love my counselor, but working with LifeStance is a challenge. The billing always seems to be an issue and with their new system I’m not getting links to my counselor. I wish all their technology worked correctly - but it doesn’t.
My first session went ok but it's all about building rapport with a therapist. I felt she listened but she kept saying you need this and that. I need more than telehealth, ect. Would I recommend this counselor to friends or family? Probably not.
For those that are in search of EXCELLENT mental health management, I would strongly recommend Melissa Matherson as a therapist. She is attentive. My psychiatrist, Debra Franzen, NP is kind and attentive as well. She listens and adjusts my medicine accordingly. If you have an encounter with, Maria, don't let that discourage you. This is a great place to assist you in achieving a well-balanced life! Thank God that they believe in Jesus Christ! Hope this helps!
