Sandwich was yummy but a bit small for the price. Salad was good and the packaging was super cool. Located in the Whole Foods so it was perfect to grab a drink while waiting for the food.
Mendocino Farms inside Whole Foods is a solid spot for fresh, flavorful sandwiches and salads, though it’s a slightly different experience than their standalone locations. Mendocino farms has always had a special place in my heart but this location has especially kind staff they're always willing to help with your orders and they get your food out really quickly! You can see everything going on and how they carefully prepare your food. The line is never too long and it's conveniently located inside a whole foods everyone here is awesome and the general manager Colin is also very sweet!
I’d love to rate this higher, but there’s now been 3 times in a row with problems. Two previous times I’ve ordered a salad to-go and gotten home, started eating it, only to find a hair in it… twice. Then ordered a salad again and this time they didn’t even include the two ingredients which I requested via the app, to be on the side. The bag says it was QA’d but clearly it wasn’t and I should’ve checked before I left.
We had 45 minutes to get to the John Wayne Airport and wanted to find a quick place to eat that wasn’t far from the airport. This was perfect. We arrived at 2:15 and ordered a soup and 1/2 sandwich as well as a full sandwich and small potato salad. The order came out within 5 minutes and it was really delicious.
