Love the salads at this Mendocino Farms location in San Mateo! All the ingredients were fresh and perfectly presented, even in the take-out containers. Fast and super friendly staff. The parking lot can be very busy and a bit chaotic, but the underground parking lot has a lot of spots and easier to navigate.
Peruvian steak sandwich was tasty, but bread was soft. It would have been great if meat was chargrilled and bread was crispy. It's in a strip mall so convenient and functional, in and out.
We visited for lunch on a Saturday. The attendant at the counter was patient, reapectful, and quick. We dined in. There were plenty of open tables. The service time was about right. I found the noise level comfortable. Finally, and most important the not so fried chicken sandwich was delicious, and the best part of the visit. I’m a big fan of this Mendocino Farms bc the staff is so friendly and helpful! I usually go for the Avocado Ensalada, with added chicken and I swap the recommended Chipotle dressing with Caesar.
