The lemonade here is not the syrupy kind, it strikes the perfect zingy balance that you’d want on a warm day. The prosciutto and chicken sandwich was tasty, and the balsamic glaze in it nailed it. It added the tang it was meant to without taking over. It’s self-service, but they are quick and efficient. With benches, and high stools, the space leans industrial, amd somehow it all works together.
My classmates and I just finished our second visit to Mendocino Farms and we’ve already decided this is our go-to spot during clinicals! 🩺🥗 Their salads and sandwiches are not only super fresh but also so satisfying after a long day—it’s the perfect mix of healthy and delicious. Love the salads at this Mendocino Farms location in San Mateo! All the ingredients were fresh and perfectly presented, even in the take-out containers. Fast and super friendly staff. The parking lot can be very busy and a bit chaotic, but the underground parking lot has a lot of spots and easier to navigate.
Peruvian steak sandwich was tasty, but bread was soft. It would have been great if meat was chargrilled and bread was crispy. It's in a strip mall so convenient and functional, in and out.
Friendly service. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich. It did take a little long to get my order. However, it did not disappoint. It was hot toasty and delicious! It is a bit pricey for deli type sandwich. I got the sandwich, diet coke and potatoes chips and came to $26. Clean establishment including the restroom. I would return again if I ever venture to that area again.
