This review is not about the amazing doctors we had at Iowa Heart. I cannot say enough good about them. This review is about the bad taste that was left after our appointment. We used Valet parking due to my almost 80yr old mom who is a cardiac patient and can't walk far. Appt at 4pm. Valet told us she was only open till 5pm and would text mother's phone with info on how to retrieve key if we went past her closing time. No answers no help, heart work needs serious folks, didn’t run into one while here. I would also give this place a zero as well! The nursing staff is over worked and docs are doubling up to get those insurance dollars. The nurses deserve better and the patients need better with help from trinity staff members that seemto have been given a job with very little training. The heart doctors do not listen. I advise them not to change my daughter's medications rapidly. It had to be done in a slow process so we could make sure we were watching her blood work. They started increasing her medications weekly and not watching her blood work close enough and it put her in ventricular fibrillation. I almost lost my daughter. If i could give zero stars i would. I was diagnosed with postpartum hear failure in summer of 2025. it’s been nothing short of a nightmare dealing with these people. iowa must have HORRIBLE cardiologist for these people to be named top in the state. i even gave in and finally requested to see a different MD Within the clinic as my husband had suggested and i didn’t know they could be worse than the first one. my blood pressure dipped back down to 86/56. i’m 29 years old and it was improved 3 months ago. i asked why this was... read more
Iowa heart has exceeded my expectations. Staff is very friendly, everything was clean, and I hardly waited to be seen. Katie was the MA and did a great job!
