I just recently visited urgent care due to an ear infection and other sickness. I never get to true care I need when I go in. Her name is nicole and every time I see her she brushes my concerns off like they mean nothing. Barely looked at my throat, barely looked in my ear, noticed I had wheezing in my right lung and tried to assume I'm a smoker which I'm not. Didn't even address that part. I was at Mercy One Urgent Care this morning 4-25-2025. It was a good experience. My nurses, Betty and Erin, I'm not sure of her name. They were kind and knowledgeable. The Doctor, I'm sorry I don't remember her name, remembered me from previous visits. She was also kind and understanding. She was concerned as I have been to Urgent Care with bronchitis. She also wondered why I am so prone to Bronchitis. I assured her my doctor is aware. Thank you to Mercy One Urgent Care!
Went there and Kathleen Megivern was very rude and talked to me dumb and rushed me out of there. Little did she know I am a CNA lol, and noticed she was rushing me out and saying I needed “treatment” but sent nothing to the pharmacy.
What a wonderful experience. I’m sure it helps that I was there right when they opened because there weren’t a lot of folks waiting yet, but everyone I came across was SO friendly. Tracy at the front desk checked me in quickly with a smile on her face and Wendy was an excellent nurse that was gentle and friendly. She took interest in my personal life, which I find to be such a great quality of bedside manner. I was in and out in 30 mins.
BIG PICTURE: My family has been coming to this Urgent Care for decades at this point...and have had an almost perfect record with the care we've received. From stitches to splints to strep - and everything in between - the staff demonstrably cares for their patients, the facility is clean and professional, and they keep the pace going WITHOUT sacrificing patient care.
