Learning to do things sober was surprisingly enjoyable. From making vision boards, playing BINGO(Mr. Briggs gave us candy!), and socializing with others who related to my life. I still remember assignments I worked on with my counselor along with the compassion, words of wisdom and truth that PRC J spoke. Everyone raved on how awesome J is. He is very genuine. Amazing how much better I feel after being there for just 14 days. The amenities are good, with a gym and art room, and guitars and piano. The food is so good. The staff is stacked with great people, and everyone is in recovery and has real stories to help them identify with patients, and vice versa. AA/NA/CA speakers are so good, I would get goosebumps. The staff is amazing. The groups are really good. I learned a lot of things about my addiction and myself from the groups way better than I did in the last rehab I went to. The only thing I didn't like was the ventilation system that needs to be upgraded which i believe they are working on but once this place is done doing all the remodeling it's gonna be even better. I was so happy with the care I received at Meridian Health Services. Noel was my first point of contact and she was so amazing. She walked me through the whole process and is a wonderful and caring person. The staff at Meridian went above and beyond. I am so greatful for the program. It truly has changed my life.
Meridian Health Services has truly been life-changing for my family. My mom attended their program for alcohol addiction, and at the time was in a really dark place..I can honestly say that the support, care, and compassion she received was incredible.
