This is the best MMT facility I’ve been to! I’m usually the only person there & I’m in and out in under 5 minutes. When the previous place called BioMed got closed down & It switched over to Meridian, I thought they were going to be way to strict but they have relaxed a bit. I wish they would close on Saturday & Sundays like most other places and I wish they gave more days off on certain holidays because they’re able to do both they just won’t. That’s really my only complaint:)
This is one of the best treatment centers out there. They really care for their clients and their mission. The classes are very helpful and cover so many aspects of recovery so you are prepared for many issues. The staff are very good to the residents and they make it apparent how much they care about our recovery. My counselor was amazing. horrible staff with the exception of maybe two nurses place does not give medication properly. Every nurse gives it differently. This place is near almost like jail. If for some reason you decide you want to leave, they make it super hard and pretty much. Insult you for leaving. The food don’t even get me started. The beds are just like prison cots. Honestly your stay at any rehab really comes down to what you put in it. The food is good. Its a big place with nice lounging areas. Of course the beds are cramped and not king size but what else would you expect. They just put a lot of money into the outside. A basketball court and pickle ball.. they treat you well there. Words can’t even begin to describe how wonderful my experience at Meridian was. I spent a total of 21 Days at the women’s facility, And the llove and care that I received from the staff was wonderful. My learning experience was amazing. I can honestly say that I will be returning for the alumni night every month and I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful staff at Meridian.
