The staff is amazing. The groups are really good. I learned a lot of things about my addiction and myself from the groups way better than I did in the last rehab I went to. The only thing I didn't like was the ventilation system that needs to be upgraded which i believe they are working on but once this place is done doing all the remodeling it's gonna be even better. Learning to do things sober was surprisingly enjoyable. From making vision boards, playing BINGO(Mr. Briggs gave us candy!), and socializing with others who related to my life. I still remember assignments I worked on with my counselor along with the compassion, words of wisdom and truth that PRC J spoke. Everyone raved on how awesome J is. He is very genuine. Meridian Health Services has truly been life-changing for my family. My mom attended their program for alcohol addiction, and at the time was in a really dark place..I can honestly say that the support, care, and compassion she received was incredible. From day one, the staff treated her with kindness and respect, and they gave her the tools and encouragement she needed to succeed. Meridian literally saved my life. I went into inpatient May 12th 2024 and have been clean since. I had been to rehab 6 times previously at different institutions. The people here truly care about the women inpatient & outpatient. I’ve been apart of their outpatient MAT program since I finished their inpatient program. If you are struggling please consider them. Without their help I know I wouldn’t be here today. ❤️
The staff was very caring and helpful but the program did not offer as much learning material as I had hoped. Many groups ended early or were “filler” classes where we did coloring, music, or worked on artwork. I really enjoyed my counselor but felt like during our group therapy we were not checking in with each other but instead just working on projects or listening to our counselor talk.
