My car was towed on Tuesday after my apartment manager said it was OK to park in undercover parking. She failed to advise us that she changed the parking situation and that we could no longer park woke up one morning to take my kids to school and go to work. My car was not there. It was towed I had to pay $200 to get it out. I can hardly afford my rent much less towing fees. Here is fine I don’t find a problem with living here everybody’s so nice and friendly. It’s just a parking.
I am currently a resident at Mesquite Terrace and I am highly upset about the parking situation. My car has been towed today because I was in a UNCOVERED spot on the property where I pay rent at. First when we moved in they didn’t have assigned parking we were able to park in garage. As of 8/26/24 a letter was sent out stating only ONE person per household is allowed a parking permit there is no where on that letter that states NOT allowed to park in Uncovered parking on PROPERTY. I’ve had a frustrating experience at Mesquite Terrace Apartments. The lack of parking is a major issue, and I’ve been towed twice despite following the rules. On top of that, I’ve had two packages stolen right from my doorstep. That’s a total of almost $600 dollars in towing fees and stolen packages. Property management did not seem to care and only stated that “it’s been happening to a lot of people”. That doesn’t make it ok. This is my first official home for my kids and I and I love it. The things I don’t like aren’t controllable by the staff themselves so I’m not going to let that affect my rating *transients, parking, etc* Every issue I’ve taken to the staff has been addressed quickly and professionally. The common issues that are had like parking they are working on fixing such as giving permits and towing vehicles that don’t have them to make sure residents have spots to park in. Thank you staff for all you!
I'm so disappointed! I went in to this place to apply for an apartment, however the door was closed. There was a skinny hispanic lady on her cell phone that obviously worked there, but she refused to acknowledge me whatsoever. I waited patiently for way too long before I left. I was never acknowledged and even felt unwanted there. The hours on the website said open from 9am-5pm, so I don't understand why she couldn't help me or even look up at me.
