This was my very first time visiting this location as I was referred to it for a root canal . I happen to have an extreme fear of the dentist in general, I was so pleasantly surprised to have had received such a kind and knowledgeable staff. Dr Roger Burke exceeded my expectations he kept me informed and at ease the entire time. His dental assistant was also phenomenal and kind ! I am so thankful to have had such great care. Thank you immensely Metropolitan Endodontics !
A good experience…If you can call getting a root canal “good”. I was given an up front $$$ estimate. After a CT scan of the mouth I was shown the issue. The procedure took about an hour and I was informed along the way what was happening. All of my questions were answered. I paid the bill at the end, which was about $150 cheaper than the estimate because of some stuff that wasn’t needed. I was on my way 1.5 hours after I got there. No complaints as of 8 hours later.
Excellent service! My two visits for a consultation and root canal with Dr. Burke and his team were top notch. Everyone there is very friendly and does a great job in explaining what to expect before and during the procedure so I felt very comfortable. I appreciate the service and great care the team provided.
I don't remember the name of the staff that helped with the dentist... or his name, but they were amazing and picked right up on my sarcasm. I had fun making them laugh, and they dished it right back out to me too. Above all they were sweet, patient and made me feel valid and heard. I 100% recommend them!
Officially, they take Medical Assistance. Not-so-officially, they put up an expensive barrier to treatment and issue a waiver rather than a prior authorization. Apparently for dental claims, it's up to the insurance company to ask the provider why they think a non-covered service should be covered? This is not the first time I had to deal with ME while on MA, and last time, it took most of a year, but we eventually got our money back via MA. Not sure what all happened in the background.
