My son was a patient of Dr. McManus for close to 20 years and suddenly they were no longer taking Medicare, and though my son also has other insurance, he wasn't allowed to use it. We weren't even allowed to pay out-of-pocket. No guidance or helpful referrals. I couldn't even get a call back from Dr. McManus and was very disappointed about the way my son was so easily disposed of. I like Dr. McManus a lot, but in the end, my son got short shrift.
I wish there was a 0 star option. My daughter receives the worst level of care through this office. The reception staff is unhelpful, unable to problem solve, and lacks communication skills. Dr. McManus and his office staff make the process of getting your child help extraordinarily difficult and unduly stressful. They add to your burden rather than providing quality mental health care.
