My brother, a Virginia resident and veteran who has a form of dementia, wanted to speak with a counselor. Lifestance was recommended by his VA psychiatrist. They saw him one time, got his billing information completely wrong, sent him a bill for $396, refused to speak with me( POA and sister) or reschedule an appointment until I physically came in from Delaware ,where I live, to present the papers- somehow sending them electronically wasn't sufficient. I think Michalena is the best therapist I have ever had. She is wise, knowledgeable, encouraging, and curious. She asks good questions and prompts me to think differently about deeply embedded negative though patterns. I always walk away from our sessions with new tools and action steps.
My favorite lady. Absolutely love her.
Helps me get through the weeks when life isn’t so great at the moment.
