I think Michalena is the best therapist I have ever had. She is wise, knowledgeable, encouraging, and curious. She asks good questions and prompts me to think differently about deeply embedded negative though patterns. I always walk away from our sessions with new tools and action steps.

My brother, a Virginia resident and veteran who has a form of dementia, wanted to speak with a counselor. Lifestance was recommended by his VA psychiatrist. They saw him one time, got his billing information completely wrong, sent him a bill for $396, refused to speak with me( POA and sister) or reschedule an appointment until I physically came in from Delaware ,where I live, to present the papers- somehow sending them electronically wasn't sufficient.
