Zero issues. My annual fight against blepharitis has resumed, so I decided to give MEC a try. Scheduling a time was easy on their website. I showed up on time. The receptionist was very welcoming and organized. I was called back pretty quickly. Waited about 20-30 minutes in the room, and was greeted by the physician. Explained my problem and what I needed and she said she would send the prescription to my pharmacy, which was done. Overall, totally pain free. I'll be back.
The doctor didnt think that I needed an antibiotic, even though I was sick for 3 and a half weeks and am 71 years old. She reluctantly gave me a script for a z pack. I have Medicare and BCBS, which they billed, but I also got a bill in the mail for$120 dollars over and above what my insurance paid! I will NEVER go back to any Midwest Express Clinic!
Very aggravated. Son went in at 1:30 p.m. Found out he has strep. He has been sick for a week. They said they would send in a prescription. Went to Walgreens at 5:00 p.m. No script. Called MEC and they said the doc would send in the script by the end of the day. So 8:00 p.m.?????? That means he won't even get it till tomorrow. Doctors should immediately send in scripts for sick patients, not when it's convenient for them. Will find new urgent care. This is unacceptable.

The service was good with the clinical staff. But I had to have a culture done. They said that they would call me on Monday. On Thursday I still didn't hear from them. I decided to call them since at that point it was obvious they weren't going to call me. Jackie answered. Didn't even apologize, said she would send my results via email and I asked if it would be easy to understand. I received it 15 min later, and it didn't really clearly state positive or negative.
