Love my clinician but really dislike the company. They charge me randomly and I have let them know multiple times that they overcharged me. Just was charged $500 for one appointment when I have insurance. They also don’t have an after hours hotline and there’s also a miss when it comes to refilling prescriptions. I’m always at CVS being told they need my doctors approval when I’ve talked to my doctor and she put the order in. It’s very inconvenient. I love my clinician but really frustrated with Mindpath health.
I was using the Babylon App for my Mental Health Needs for about 3 years. Well they no longer serve California. So I found Mindpath and the process was simple. I found a Dr who I am comfortable with and I am now able to get my Antidepressants which is very important! I am going to stick with Mindpath because without it I wouldn't know what to do. Dr Alfred Wu is Great and I recommend him highly! Thank you Mindpath.
I recently had a consultation with Dr. Ji, and I am extremely impressed with his care. He listened to all my concerns and addressed every question I had about my psychiatric medication. Dr. Ji, is clearly an empathetic person who genuinely cares about how his patients are feeling. He recommended several treatment options to determine what would be best for me. Dr. Ji was great but Terrible Staff with Poor Billing Practices I had an extremely frustrating experience with Mindpath Health's Irvine Office. I was incorrectly charged a large amount for a visit that should have only cost me a small copay, as confirmed by my insurance. Despite providing all the necessary documentation and contacting the billing office and the office location multiple times, I received no resolution. The psychiatrist was friendly and knowledgeable about typical psychiatric issues and treatments (SSRIs, SNRIs, tricyclics, their side effects). Their suggestions were good and they listened well to my wife's description of her symptoms and also how she was feeling about her symptoms and what next steps she was comfortable with taking. The psychiatrist was not knowledgeable about chronic fatigue syndrome, which was not ideal, though many doctors are not aware of that issue so I cannot fault them much for that.
