Ive been working with a Dr here for 5 years and he left the practice. There was no cutover plan and they just threw me to whoever was avalible and that person ended up not being anywhere near ready to handle my case. The Doctors here seem fine but my low rating is mostly due to the front desk staff who work here - truly awful rude off putting humans. She hears even what I never meant to say out loud. LOVE my doctor. On the downside though, they verified my insurance prior to the visit and after meeting with the same provider for over 3 years, my most recent visit was deemed “out of network” and I was billed $675 for a 15min Zoom session and a couple prescription refills. Ouch.
For a consultation of 1 hour, of which I actually used only 45 minutes, I received a bill of almost $350. This is what I had to pay after insurance intervention. The total invoice for this consultation was $1127! That's completely absurd and feels like a total rip off. Make sure to request what they will charge in advance.
One of the most pleasant psychiatric visits I have ever had! I was able to see someone quickly, from the comfort of my home. They were personable yet professional, and really helped me feel better about changing a prescription. I’m looking forward to continuing to be their patient!
The new system that was in place as of my April 1 appointment or March 31 appointment was very glitchy. The video wouldn’t work on both sides at the same time the zoom video and it wouldn’t login on my iPad. I had to use my phone so my guess is the out these glitches. I hope so anyway, I won’t continue with it. As, we had to spend a good part of the first part of the appointment trying to figure it out. Kind of think I should get a credit for half my session with my $50 copay
