Dr. Emory was very patient and listened to me really well. He definitely understood what it was I wanted and needed. I'm grateful he took my previous diagnosing seriously.
I had a great experience with my first telehealth appointment. Malia made me feel very comfortable and was easy to talk to. I felt that she understood me, and she was quite helpful. I am looking forward to my next appointment with her!
There were 2 outstanding problems with my experience with Mindpath. There were computer related problems and the appointment started 25 minutes late. While I can certainly understand technology difficulties no one contacted me to let me know the appointment was going to start late. When I called their helpline they had no idea about the delay and didn’t offer to contact the provider or find out the reason for the delay. Fortunately, my appointment was not cut short. My initial appointment and testing went fine. But as soon as I walked out of testing, I was informed that the provider I had been assigned to was taking a leave of absence and there was no one that they could put me with to follow up. I was assured I would be contacted that day and informed of a plan for me, three days later and I’ve still heard nothing. I had already waited a month and a half for the appointment and now I’m back to square one again.
This was very disheartening. I waited 40 minutes for my provider to show and there was nothing. After 10 mins past my appointment, I contacted the front desk and had no answer. I then had to contact support who couldn’t explain why the provider hadn’t showed. Rescheduling options were a month out, so I just decided to go somewhere else. As a part of the population being served, this sends a very sad message about priorities.
