The therapist I had did not know how to deal with anyone with high anxiety and she hung up on me. I got upset with her because she preferred to debate whose fault it was over some zoom issues. Since she could see and hear me and I could hear her I wanted to start my therapy. Instead she wanted to waste my time at $1,041an hour session by having someone from the front desk call and help me with zoom. I have been using zoom every week since Covid and know it quite well. Mindpath Health has great Psychiatrists and Therapists working for them! Dr Biaggi as my Psychiatrist and Scott (Gerald ) Fralich as my Therapist are both great listeners and such warm ,welcoming Professionals that I feel accepted and acknowledged not only as a patient,but also as a person ! They are extremely caring ,and they always go beyond their " job" to listen and help me with my emotional needs plus ! Do not uses this therapy group. They lure you through marketing techniques, accept an appt, even send you a link for the appt. Surprise! At the time of the appt you call and are told the provider can’t accept the appt. I expected more from a psychiatry firm. More importantly, they do not have adequate phone staff. You need to accept the hold (not a huge issue) but expect someone to come on the phone after 14 minutes. What happens is when the hold is released the text reads you need to leave a message. The nicest medical office I've ever seen--just walking in there and sitting in the waiting room was relaxing! Dr. Appel is a GENIUS and doesn't talk to you like you're an idiot, he talks to you like you're a doctor too which I love!! He's truly the best Psychiatrist I've ever seen and his office is amazing! If I need to see him, I drive 1.5 hours away to see him and am happy to do so in order to see him instead of any of the doctors that are closer, would recommend him to anyone!!

I was nervous about this appointment and experience. I have always heard negative feedback about these types of appointments and I went in with very low expectations. I was surprisingly impressed with the conversation that I was able to have and that the doctor was empathetic and kind to me. I normally hear the opposite. I’d absolutely recommend Dr. David Appel!
